Goregaon, Mumbai, October 6, 2023 – In a tragic incident that sent shockwaves through Mumbai’s Goregaon suburb, six people lost their lives and 40 others sustained injuries when a massive fire engulfed a 7-storey building in the early hours of today. The incident occurred at the Jay Bhavani building in the Azad Nagar locality of Goregaon West.
The fire, which broke out at approximately 3 am, proved to be a harrowing ordeal for the residents of the building, as they were jolted awake by the raging flames and thick smoke that filled the corridors.
