Aespa’s new single “Savage” will debut on the 77th of the newly published Billboard Global 200, a weekly ranking of the world’s most consumed songs by charters. This list uses a methodology that combines both sales and streaming data to depict what billions of people are listening to. This frame contains Aespa again.
When the “Savage” arrives, Aespa will take third place on the Billboard Global 200. This is enough to move up and connect the two acts from South Korea that were the second hit in the K-POP girl group. The quartet reached the ranking for the first time at the end of last year when its debut release “Black Mamba” climbed to 138th place. In less than six months, the follow-up “Next Level” has significantly improved the best performance. No. 65.
With three chart hits celebrating their achievements, Aespa is tied to both Itzy and Twice for the second-most win in the Korean girl group. Itzy has landed on the Billboard Global 200 with songs “Not Shy,” “In the Morning,” and “Loco.” These songs debuted at number 44 in the final frame and are still on the list.
