Arlington NAACP, an Arlington Lamar High School alumnus and former football player, will host a news conference on Monday afternoon to recruit, select and recruit teachers and instructors from the ‘Good Ol’ Boy ‘of the Arlington Independent School District ‘The system will be challenged, the Arlington NAACP said.
The Arlington NAACP said the process of filling the head football coaching position for the Lamar High School program sheds a light on an issue that has existed for the past decade.
According to the Arlington NAACP, the organization received complaints from qualified applicants who had passed when teachers applied for the inauguration.
Recently, the Arlington ISD community expressed their displeasure with the selection process for head football coach at Lamar High School, the Arlington NAACP said.

At the news conference, the Arlington NAACP said it would call for the school district to resume the search process for Lamar Head football coaching positions and implement procedures that would ensure qualified candidates for all AISD positions were listed as one.
