A woman was charged with manslaughter after an accident that killed one of her passengers in Dallas on Friday night, officials said.
A member of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident on Loss Avenue Interstate 345 at around 10:55 pm. An agent arrived and found a Jeep Patriot with multiple airbags deployed and a FedEx semi-truck with minor damage to the right rear of one of the trailers.
Sheriff investigators believe Aspin Rashawn Jackson’s Jeep struck behind the FedEx truck.
According to the Marshals Service, her passenger in the passenger seat was an unidentified 29-year-old woman who was taken to a hospital and died there.
Dallas Fire Rescue also transported 21-year-old Jackson and carried the passenger on the left behind her to the hospital. Authorities did not reveal the condition of her passengers.
Jackson faces manslaughter in a crash. No bail has been set for her.
