On Friday, law officials announced that the former director of the Keller ISD band has been indicted on eight counts of indecency with a child.
Jedidiah Mauss, 36, was arrested in October 2021 on charges of indecent exposure and having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
According to investigators, the last time Keller PD received a tip from a Keller ISD teacher was when it was reported that Mauss had exposed himself to a student.

Police say that since the initial report, additional victims have come forward sharing their incidents with Mauss over the years.
An arrest warrant obtained in October 2021 detailed that one of the incidents took place on Friday, 10 September and that Mauss was officially placed on administrative leave and no longer had access to the building on Tuesday, 14 September.
The Keller ISD issued a statement after Mauss’s arrest describing the incident as “disturbing” and assuring parents that the district was cooperating with the Keller Police Department.
