Francesco Bagnaia made a new achievement in qualifying on Saturday and won the pole of the San Marino MotoGP. Ducati rider Banyaia, who won his first GP in Aragon last weekend, set a fierce best time of 1’31.065 seconds at Misano, finishing ahead of teammate Jack Miller and championship leader Fabio Quartararo. .. This was the second pole position for Italy’s Banyaia, who is aiming for two consecutive victories in front of Sunday’s home support.
24-year-old Quartararo is 53 points behind in the overall ranking.
Valentino Rossi continued a poor weekend at home ground after off course at the beginning of the first quarter. Before retiring at the end of the season, the penultimate visit to Misano caused a second crash of the day.
The motorcycle legend begins on Sunday the 23rd of the grid, but it’s not what Misano’s motorcycle legend’s 23,000 enthusiasts wanted to see.
