A French daredevil Remi Lucidi who was famous for climbing tall buildings all over the world has passed away. He died after falling from the 68th floor of a building in Hong Kong. His name was Remi Lucidi, and he was 30 years old. He was at the Tregunter Tower complex in Hong Kong when the accident happened. It’s said that he got stuck outside a penthouse and fell to his death.
Investigators say that Lucidi arrived at the building in the evening and told the security guard that he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor. Later, he somehow ended up on a higher floor and got trapped outside. He desperately knocked on a window, which scared a maid inside. Sadly, he lost his balance and fell from the building.

According to Hong Kong officials, the building’s security guard tried to question Remi Lucidi’s claim that he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor, but he had already taken an elevator at that point.
A source informed the Post that the last sighting of Mr. Lucidi was when he was knocking on a penthouse window on the 68th floor of Tregunter Tower at around 7.30 pm. This prompted a maid to call the police.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found Lucidi’s sports camera, which contained videos of extreme sports. However, the official statement and the cause of the stuntman’s death are yet to be disclosed by the Hong Kong police.
The adventurer was staying at a hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The hostel owner, Gurjit Kaur, shared with the Post that Lucidi seemed to be in good health, fit, and had a cheerful demeanor. She expressed feeling very saddened by his passing.
Shortly before the tragic incident, Lucidi had posted a picture of the Hong Kong skyline on his Instagram profile.
Based on his social media page, it was evident that Lucidi had attempted daring stunts in different parts of the world, such as Bulgaria, Portugal, France, Ukraine, and Dubai.
One of his Instagram photos shows him standing at the pinnacle of a skyscraper, gazing over the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
Lucidi began his skyscraper climbing ventures in 2016 and had been globetrotting, attempting various daring stunts.
On 16th July, he shared a picture on Instagram, taking a selfie while hanging off the stairs of a building in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He captioned the photo with the words: “Life is too short to chase unicorns.”
