Fortnite Literally, we kicked off Chapter 2 Season 8 with great success.
At a pretty wild live event yesterday, Dr. Sloan used a player to defeat Mothership, but her plan to destroy Kevin of the Cube was unsuccessful.
Kevin and many other small cubes are now scattered throughout the island, showing a significant portion of the map changes.
The Battle Pass also includes some of the most creative skins I’ve seen in a very long time. Here are the 8 Battle Pass skins for each season and their alternative styles.
Like Season 7, these aren’t locked to Tier tracks like they used to be. Now you have 10 pages, and you can use Battlestar to unlock items in any order on each page.
To unlock a new page, you need to get a certain level or buy enough items from the previous page, but it’s still less linear than before.
Charlotte is the first Battle Pass skin. She has been unlocked from the beginning.
She has several different styles that can be unlocked further down the Battle Pass.
Here is her enchantment spirit style on page 3.
Once you’ve completed your entire Battle Pass, there are some special styles that you can unlock, such as Charlotte’s tattered spirit style.
Tuna Fish — Do you understand? It looks like a tuna, but it’s a cartoon. Very smart, epic. Tunafish is basically a chimera of the season. Alien artifacts are gone, but players still have to find color bottles throughout the map. Finding these unlocks many colorful options for converting black and white vintage cartoon skins to all the colors of the rainbow.
On page 4, unlock the boring Kor of the season. Of all the very imaginative Season 8 skins, I find Kor to have the least inspiration. She’s fine, but nothing special. Her alt-styles are also a bit on the meh side.
I think her trench coat style is stylish enough.
Her tactical gray style is:
Then there’s this Arctic style as an addition after all the Battle Passes are over.
Fabio Sparklemane is one of the best skins Epic Games has ever devised. A great unicorn has a lot of cosmetics as great as going with him, including a really hilarious one cereal box emotes.
His alt style is pure gold:
Unfortunately, there are only two Fabio Sparklemane skins on the Battle Pass.
JB Chinpunkushi is another really nice skin. The human-chimpanzee hybrid is dressed in a golden astronaut suit, but he has several alternative styles to keep things interesting. If you get tired of gold, you can switch to pink, like Fabio Sparklemane.
Upon completing the Battle Pass, JB will earn a bonus style and get a shiny spacesuit.
It’s like the skins of other astronauts in the game.
Torin is being billed as the central figure / leader in the Season 8 pack. You can see that she is in front and in the center in all the key arts of Season 8. She’s definitely pretty terrible. One of her emotes transforms her into her masked version and she looks a bit intimidating.
I think Torin is tied to the new sideway dimension added in Season 8. I’m sure you’ll get her “story” for the quest.
The last Season 8 Battle Pass skin is Carnage. This is one of the scariest Marvel characters to arrive. Fortnite. Completing the Battle Pass unlocks his greatest genocide style.
The Season 8 Battle Pass has one final skin, but no one knows who she will be. From the teaser image, it’s clear that this is her, but beyond that it’s a guessing game.
You can see an overview of her in the image below:
She reminds me a little of the Ice King / Ice Queen skin. Most of the “secret” skins in Chapter 2 were A) not secret, but B) non-Fortnite characters such as Deadpool, Aquaman, and Superman. I really hope this is the original character with the role to play in this season’s comprehensive story. You can see.
