ENG vs IND Live: England fired Cheteshwar Pujara early on the fourth day.© Instagram
Cheteshwar Pujara of India fell early to Pollie Robinson in the first session of the fourth day of the third test in Headingley, Leeds. England skipper Joe Root got the DRS correctly because the referee’s decision not to play was overturned. India was placed on 215/3 after 83.3 over and dragged with 139 runs. Pujara and Virat Kohli added 99 runs to the third wicket, but failed to add a run to the overnight score. India, who folded 78 in the first inning after choosing a batting, was further punished by an English batter, scoring 432 and a one-inning lead of 354 runs. However, Puhara led India’s counterattack with the support of the first Rohit Sharma and then Kori. Pujara finished the third day undefeated on the 91st, but the Indian captain was 45 years old.
