Delhi Capitals announced on Wednesday that left-armed orthodox bowler Manimaran Siddhars was excluded from the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 due to injury. Delhi Capitals support staff are currently considering a Manimaran Siddhars rehabilitation program in Dubai. He will return to India a few days later, where he will continue to rehabilitate.
Earlier that day, Delhi Capitals’ South African high-speed bowler Kagisora Bada, Henrich Norche from Australia, and Bendwarshuis arrived at a team hotel in Dubai.
All players were inspected for COVID-19 upon arrival. Dwarshuis was quarantined for six days, and South African players participated in the Delhi Capitals biobubbles directly from the biobubbles set up for the recently signed ODI and T20I series in Sri Lanka.
