Sunday Jasprit Bumrah joined the list of elite players wearing Mumbai Indians jerseys. When the 2021 season resumed in the United Arab Emirates and MI and rival Chennai Super Kings clashed, Bumura went to the Dubai International Stadium for his 100th IPL match. Therefore, Bumura became the sixth player to reach the milestone. Paceman was presented with a special number 100 jersey behind by Zaheer Khan, MI’s Cricket Operations Director.
India International, which joined Mumbai prior to the 2013 season, won 115 wickets in 99 MI games prior to the clash with CSK. MI used social media to praise Star Bowler and posted a photo of him holding a jersey provided by Zaheer.

In the ongoing season that began in April this year, Bumura was not at his best. He was only able to collect 6 wickets in 7 games before the tournament was postponed prematurely due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the biosecure bubble.
As competition in the United Arab Emirates resumes, Bumura hopes to make some good exhibits for defending champions and help them qualify for the playoffs.
The Mumbai franchise does not have the regular Match 30 skipper, Rohit Sharma. Kiron Polard is leading the side instead.
