The creators of Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming movie ‘Jawan,’ known as Red Chillies Entertainment, have taken action against the unauthorized sharing of clips from their film. They have filed a formal complaint, called a First Information Report (FIR), stating that these clips were leaked without permission and shared on the internet.
In response to this complaint, they have identified five accounts on a platform previously known as Twitter (now called X) as the sources of these leaked videos. Legal notices have been sent to these accounts to address the situation.
‘Jawan’ Film Makers File FIR for Leaked Clips of Movie

This is not the first time such a situation has arisen for the movie ‘Jawan.’ Earlier this year, in April, the Delhi High Court had to deal with a similar problem. The court ordered social media websites, websites in general, and cable TV providers to quickly remove any leaked content related to the movie. They also emphasized that these clips should not be displayed without proper authorization or licensing.
Seeing the concern of Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the court went a step further by asking X (formerly Twitter) to provide important details about the users who were involved in spreading these leaked clips. This includes information like email addresses, IP addresses (which are like digital location markers), and phone numbers of these users.
‘Jawan’ is an exciting movie featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupati. It’s directed by the well-known filmmaker Atlee. The movie is expected to be released in theaters on the 7th of September, and fans are eagerly looking forward to it.
