Kangana Ranaut’s highly awaited movie, “Tejas,” made its much-anticipated theatrical debut, but it seems the film has had a rough takeoff at the box office. Despite the buzz surrounding the film, it experienced a lackluster opening with minimal audience turnout on its release day.

Early estimates from Sacnilk.com revealed that “Tejas” managed to collect just ₹1.25 crore on its first day, reflecting a tepid start for the aerial action drama. The film struggled with a meager 6.83 percent occupancy, indicating limited interest among the audience.

“Tejas” narrates the inspiring journey of Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force pilot, aiming to instill pride in every Indian by showcasing the dedication and challenges faced by those defending the nation. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film boasts a talented cast, including Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vishak Nair, Kashyap Shangari, Sunit Tandon, Rio Kapadia, Mohan Agashe, and Mushtaq Kak.

“Tejas” is also known for its memorable songs, such as “Dil Hai Ranjhana” and “Jaan Da,” which enhance its musical appeal.
