In a candid and emotionally charged conversation with her daughter Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan, has revealed that her life’s biggest regret is her history of infidelity during her marriage to her first husband, Robert Kardashian.
The revelation took place during a two-part episode of “The Kardashians,” where the family delves into their past and confronts their personal challenges. In the previous episode, released on October 18, Khloé Kardashian shared her own struggles with trust after enduring repeated infidelity by her ex-partner, Tristan Thompson.
In a poignant moment in the recent episode that aired on October 26, Khloé asked her mother, “What was the mindset when you cheated?” It was a direct question seemingly referring to allegations that Kris had cheated on her first husband, the late Robert Kardashian, with Caitlyn Jenner.
In 1991, Kris married Caitlyn Jenner just one month after her divorce from Robert, the father of her first four children. The revelation of infidelity and its impact on her family’s dynamics left Khloé visibly shaken.
“You have four kids and your whole family, this whole thing,” Khloé said, seeking answers from her mother.
Kris, reflecting on her actions during that time, admitted, “I think being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions.” Khloé pressed further, asking what had prompted her to look elsewhere.

Kris, somberly acknowledging her mistakes, replied, “(Robert) was such a great husband and such a great dad, and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else. And I made a huge mistake. That’s like my life’s biggest regret.”
Despite the regret, Kris shared that she and Robert had eventually become “best friends” after their divorce. “We talked on the phone all day long, helped each other through things all the time,” she said. “And I did have regrets. I thought, ‘Wow, what was I thinking?'”
Expressing gratitude for the mistakes that shaped her life, Kris continued, “You know, I’m not proud of the way that I behaved during that time, but you know what? Everything happens for a reason. I really do live my life by thinking God has a plan. And without that whole thing happening, there never would have been Kendall and Kylie.”
The conversation with Khloé comes as much of her storyline during Season Four of “The Kardashians” focuses on her relationship with Tristan Thompson, the father of her children. Tristan and his younger brother Amari had moved into Khloé’s home after a series of unfortunate events. Khloé made it clear that she has no intention of rekindling her relationship with Tristan, who fathered another child while still dating her and undergoing a surrogate process for their second child, Tatum.
Kris Jenner, who has been in a relationship with Corey Gamble since 2014, is continuing to navigate the complexities of her past, offering viewers a glimpse into her personal growth and redemption on the reality show. The legacy of the Kardashians remains one of candid revelations and unfiltered discussions, ensuring that their story continues to captivate audiences around the world.
