Mordecai put Mustang at the top with a 21-yard pass to Reggie Roberson Jr. four minutes into the match. They pushed the lead up to 17-3 during the break. The Bulls touched down 17-10 after Jared Mangham scored the first of two third-quarter touchdowns in a one-yard plunge.
Mordecai completed 28 out of 41 passes at 187 yards and hit Danny Gray in two of the four touchdown passes. Gray finished with seven catches at 74 yards. The Tre Cigars touched down 19 times at 79 yards with Mustang (5-0, 1-0).
Timmy McLean was 22-14 at 223 yards to lead South Florida (1-4, 0-1).
