Global reinsurance firm MS Amlin AG (MS AAG) today announced the appointment of Robert Wiest as Chief Executive Officer. He will take over from Martin Alberts, Chairman of the Board, who is currently the interim CEO.
Wiest will take on a new role on January 3, 2022 and will be based in Zurich, Switzerland. He will work with Albers at the time of his appointment to ensure that he continues to have a high level of service during the transition.
Wiest brings over 30 years of industry experience to this position. He has spent more than 20 years in Swiss Re and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. He successfully led the business unit as Head of Global Business Solutions, Head of Strategy and Operations in Asia, and Head of Western and Southern Europe, the Middle East and Turkey.
He is also leading global high-level business development, transformation and digitization projects, and in a press release, MS Amlin has his international experience in key markets for MSAAG’s continued growth and innovation. Said that it is suitable for promoting.
