New Delhi, October 18, 2023 – The prestigious National Film Awards 2023 ceremony took place at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi on October 17, with President Droupadi Murmu conferring honors upon the illustrious winners from the world of Indian cinema.

The event was a star-studded affair, with notable figures from the film industry gracing the occasion. Among the standout winners were Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt, and Kriti Sanon, who received accolades for their remarkable contributions to Indian cinema.

Allu Arjun, celebrated for his charismatic role in ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ secured the Best Actor award, showcasing his exceptional acting skills.

Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the limelight, both receiving the Best Actress award for their outstanding performances in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Mimi,’ respectively.

The National Film Award for Best Feature Film went to R Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect,’ a biographical drama that captivated audiences with its compelling narrative.

In the category of Best Popular Film: Providing Wholesome Entertainment, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR‘ claimed the top spot.

Pankaj Tripathi and Pallavi Joshi were honored as the best supporting actors for their exceptional roles in ‘Mimi’ and ‘The Kashmir Files,’ respectively.
