Nurse Lucy Letby pleaded not guilty to the murder of eight babies and ten attempted murders at Manchester Crown Court.
31-year-old Letoby was “not guilty” 18 times after being charged with her via a video link from HMP Peterborough, where she was being remanded.
Letby is said to have killed five boys and three girls while working in the Newborn Ward of the Countess of Chester Hospital.
She has also been accused of attempted murder of five boys and five girls allegedly committed between June 2015 and June 2016.
After entering her petition, the defendant on Arran Avenue in Hereford sat listening to a hearing that primarily dealt with administrative issues.
Reporting restrictions are still in place prior to the trial currently scheduled for October 2022.
