The Nvidia RTX 3000 Series Second-Wind has been dominating the graphics card grapevine for some time and may be with us in the RTX 4070, RTX 4080, and RTX 4090 2022. Yet, before that, a new leak suggests RTX 2060 refresh could come early next month.
Spotted by overlocking, the now-deleted billiards post states that the revived RTX 2060 could arrive on December 7th. According to previous reports, the new GPU will come with a 12GB GDDR6 memory bump, retaining its original PG161 board and TU106 silicon. Information is transmitted through reliable liqueurs Momomo_us Standard and overclocked versions of the card may be on the way via Gigabyte and Windforce.
Coming very close to the functionality of the original RTX 2060 RTX 3050, the new SKU’s enhanced VRAM enable it to play modern games at respectable resolutions, especially with Nvidia DLSS enabled devices. Obviously, the possibility of overclocking means that the card could potentially hold its own against the RTX 3060, but as always, benchmarking can tell a different story.
Needless to say, until Nvidia officially unveils the new RTX 2060 graphics card, you should be glad to hear of its arrival. Even if the GPU arrives next month, the availability of the GPU may be affected by the lack of running components. That said, the RTX 3000 and AMD Radeon cards are doubling their MSRP, so perhaps a refreshed turning GPU would prove to be an affordable option.
