In a sensational social media moment, Rashmika Mandanna unveiled a captivating new poster from her upcoming movie “Animal,” where she stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The poster features the lead pair, Rashmika and Ranbir, sharing a romantic kiss within the confines of an airplane. The poster release set the internet ablaze, with fans flooding the comments section on Rashmika’s Instagram with remarks about her “Geetha Govindam” co-star, Vijay Deverakonda.
One user couldn’t help but exclaim, “Arey yeh kya diya yaar, Vijay Sir ko dhokha (What did you do, betrayed Vijay sir),” while another playfully suggested, “Vijay be like jaldi waha se hato (Vijay be like, move away at once).” For those curious, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna had previously worked together in hit films such as “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade.” Their close association had even sparked dating rumors last year.
Rashmika, along with sharing the poster, also announced the release of the first song from “Animal,” titled “Hua Main,” scheduled to drop on Wednesday. She expressed her affection for the song, saying, “Hua main out tomorrow…this song is love. And I personally love it in all the versions..Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.”
Notably, a few days earlier, Vijay Deverakonda, the star of “Arjun Reddy,” had lauded the “Animal” team for their teaser release. He took to social media to share his best wishes, writing, “Wishing my Darlings Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Rashmika Mandanna, and my fav RK the very best and Happy Birthday! #AnimalTeaser.” Rashmika, in response, thanked Vijay and affectionately called him “the bestestestestttt!”
