Realmy is regularly expanding its presence in India by launching new equipment. The company, which owns BBK Electronics in China, has a range of smartphones to suit Samsung and Xiaomi. Along with the phone, it also offers a variety of connected devices, including smartwatches and truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. Realmy recently introduced sweatshirts, T-shirts, caps and even electronic toothbrushes and hairdryers to encourage wear and personal care. Earlier this week, Realme expanded the Realme GT flagship lineup in the country and launched the Realme GT Neo 2 as the cheapest offer in the new series.
Talk to Gadgets 360 Podcast Orbital Host Akhil Arora and Review Editor Jamshed Awari on this week’s episode Madhav Sheth, Vice president of Realme and CEO of Realme India, Europe and Latin America, who takes us behind the scenes at Realme.
Seth says the company has left the former Realme X family with the advent of the Realme GT series. However, the new series is claimed to be built on the legacy of the Realm X lineup and is intended to provide a flagship-like experience at an attractive price point.

Says Sheth, “You will soon see a lot of GT products coming into the portfolio from Realm. They also suggest that the company plans to bring a new Realme GT phone with 125W fast charging support next year.
Like its other series, Realm RealMe aims to provide a complete, holistic experience through the GT series, the executive tells us during the conversation.
“You don’t pay for the logo, you pay for the technology. And I think if you value technology, you should realize it. And GT is going to be all that, ”he notes.
The Realme GT series expanded on Wednesday with the inclusion of the Realme GT Neo 2. The new Realm phone includes a 120 Hz display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SOC to compete with models like the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, MI11X5G and Poco F3GT.
The Realme GT Neo 2 also has 5G connectivity and 65W fast charging. This is the third model in the Realme GT series to go on sale in India after the Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition. The Realme GT Neo 2 is priced at Rs. 31,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 35,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model.

Along with the Realme GT series, Seth talks about Realme’s ongoing research and development in India. He also touched on the current moves of ‘Make in India’ by local producers like Realmy to localize their products in the country.
He said, “Where India is at the moment is all about assembly and semi-formation.
Sheth also highlights the increase that Realme has made in sales so far this holiday season. He says the company has raised Rs. 3,500 crore during sales and became the number one brand on Flipkart in product categories including smartphones, laptops and audio and ANC (active voice cancellation).
In addition to online sales, Realme plans to increase its offline presence in the country. Sheth says it plans to have 1,000 offline stores next year where it will show consumers the entire ecosystem of its products.
We also ask Sheth how Realme is making a difference in the experience when we regularly launch multiple products. He says the goal of hosting multiple product launches is to grow the community.
“It’s not about whether we’re launching so many products at once or people are getting confused, but they’re all products of different categories. We are giving users more options. We are giving users more options to choose what their current portfolio is in the market, ”he says.
