After his bad accident on December 30, 2022, Rishabh Pant, the Indian cricketer, was seen batting for the first time. A video on X, posted by Md Israque Ahamed, showed him playing with his cricket bat at a fun event.
On Tuesday, August 15, during an event by JSW Group for Independence Day, the 25-year-old cricketer talked and even faced a few deliveries.
He said in a video shared by Sangita Jindal, “As you get older, you might stop enjoying the game. One reason is the pressure to do well in life. But, my friends, you shouldn’t forget to have fun in life.”
Rishabh Pant Continuing Rehabilitation Programme at the NCA

At the moment, Pant is working on his recovery plan at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Although the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup might happen too soon for him, there’s a chance Pant might play for the national team sometime early next year.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) mentioned in a statement that Pant has been making good progress with his rehabilitation. He’s started practicing batting and wicketkeeping in the practice sessions. He’s also following a fitness plan designed for him, which includes exercises to make him stronger, more flexible, and better at running.
