The History of Royal Challengers Bangalore
The RCB franchise has never won the IPL championship in any season as per the RCB records in IPL history. However, between 2009 and 2016, the Royal Challengers Bangalore players finished third three times. Despite having strong players such as Captain Virat Kohli and Yuzvendra Chahal, the team has yet to taste success and has earned the name “underachievers.”
Under Virat Kohli’s leadership and Daniel Vettori’s leadership, RCB had an impressive winning percentage of 62.5% in 2011. RCB had the lowest point win rate of 21.42% in the 2017 season. As a result, the team has a record for the lowest and highest totals.
Even after coming so close to winning the championship, the IPL team hasn’t had much luck despite having a stronghold on the batting lineup with some of the world’s top players. They appear to have lost a competitive game because of their bowling strategy.
