A Telegram post by the governor of the Klimovsky district revealed that “Ukrainian saboteurs” made an endeavor to breach the border. The region’s governor mentioned that a joint effort involving security forces from entities like the FSB, Ministry of Defense, National Guard, and other relevant authorities effectively repelled the attackers.
Additionally, the Kremlin announced the destruction of Ukrainian boats in the Black Sea. The Russian Defense Ministry was quoted by fr.de stating that on August 22, at approximately 11:00 a.m. Moscow time (10:00 a.m. CEST), a Russian military aircraft obliterated a Ukrainian landing craft named “Willard Sea Force,” which was of U.S. origin. This incident occurred to the east of Snake Island.
