Patrick Ryan, founder, chairman and CEO of the Ryan Specialty Group, said Wuller is the “obvious and natural successor” to take over Clark’s role.
“Miles has been a member of Ryan Specialty from the beginning and joined the company in 2010 and has done a great job of helping build this wonderful organization,” says Ryan. “Miles is a proven strategic leader and looks forward to growing his managing underwriter’s expertise under his continued direction and guidance.”
Meanwhile, Nick Cortezi, Chairman of RSG Underwriting Managers, said Wuller’s promotion “is a natural reflection of his important role in the development and leadership of RSG Underwriting Managers.”
“His deep expertise in underwriting management will help our trading partners and underwriting and services teams,” said Cortezi. “We look forward to supporting Miles as he continues to develop breadth and depth on our underwriting platform.”
“It’s a very proud milestone in my career at Ryan Specialty,” said Wuller.
“Thanks to Pats and Nick for their confidence and the support and dedication of all their colleagues,” Wooler said. “It was a tremendous 11 years, and I’m even more excited about future chapters as we continue to build international management underwriting and program practice for Ryan Specialty.”
In a statement, Ryan Specialty confirmed that Wooler would continue his current role as President of RSG Underwriting Manager.
The group recently reported “excellent” financial results for the second quarter of 2021, with total revenue of $ 390 million, up 58.3% year-on-year.
