To address this serious zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2022-1096), Google says that since jungle is already actively exploited, users should update their browser to stable channel 99.0.4844.84.
This zero-day vulnerability bug CVE-2022-1096 bug was reported on March 23, 2022 by an anonymous user. Successful use of the code can cause the browser to crash and the attacker to power up uncontrolled code. However, Google did not disclose many details about the bug found in Google Chrome, stating that “access to the bug details and links may be restricted until most users fix and update.” We will also keep restrictions if bugs exist in third party libraries on which other projects rely similarly, but have not yet been resolved.
