A special preview of Janani, RRR’s ‘hymn of the soul’, was held in Hyderabad on Thursday. Director SS Rajamouli and producer DVV Danayya graced the event. They explained the idea and purpose of the song in the movie.
Speaking at the preview event, Rajamouli said, “In the first week of December, we will present the trailer for the film. There will also be several pre-launch events and a press conference featuring all the main players and the team. “
“In RRR, there will be a lot of action sequences, high-adrenaline moments that include hero performances, intervals and climaxes, and emotional sequences. Each item will have a specific emotion in its heart, and that emotion drives everything. For a massive song like Naatu Naatu there will also be an underlying emotion. When we dive deep into all of these emotions, there will be a core that ties together all the sequences in the movie. That softcore is Janani’s song, and I call it the soul of the movie, ”he added.
He further said: “I really enjoy the re-recording process in the cinematographic aspects. Accelerates and provides the opportunity to discover new perspectives of vision. Even after re-recording the film for two months, Peddanna (MM Keeravani) was still searching for her core, and finally, she came up with this tune. We are very proud to introduce you to Janani’s song, and we just wanted to share our soul with you. “
The visuals in RRR’s soul anthem see Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the hands of strong emotion. It also features Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran. Ajay’s dialogue loosely translates to “I am the revolution and you are half of me.” Alia Bhatt as Sita makes her appearance in a full village belle avatar. In addition to singing, the film’s musical director, MM Keeravani, also wrote the lyrics for Janani.
RRR co-stars Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani, and Rahul Ramakrishna. The film is scheduled to open in theaters in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on January 7.
