Eight people were hospitalized on Saturday night after a major crash in Kaufman County where three vehicles collided.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 6 pm on Interstate 20 near Farm-To-Market Road 429 in Terrell.
Officials said a first investigation revealed that a pickup truck crashed into Kia Optima, causing the truck to float in the air and collide with the Chevrolet Equinox.
According to the Texas DPS, all four people on the pickup truck, including one in danger, were taken to the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Optima had four people, one of whom was taken to UT Health Tyler and the other three to the Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
None of the three Equinox were injured.
The age of the injured was not disclosed on Saturday night.
