There are people in the United States who are working hard every day to stop the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus. And there are people that Jordan Klepper interviewed about several “Fingers the Pulse” segments. Daily show..
In a recent segment aired Thursday, Klepper stopped at a recent school board in Smithfield, North Carolina, to campaign against face masks led by Rep. Madison Cawthorn (Republican). Klepper dubbed school board meetings such as “America’s New Thunder Dome,” and his parents apparently decided that “wearing cloth is overkill.” In other words, many school boards want their children to wear cloth on their faces to protect themselves and others from them, and some parents make a fuss about such requirements. Is awakening.
The segments are:
As you can see, the first protesters featured in this segment wore a blue T-shirt with the words “Do not co-parent with the government.” She emphasized her opposition to “all obligations.” For all obligations? For real? Wait until she hears about her obligation to “dress in public” or “use the toilet instead of the floor”.
The segment soon moved to a man who confidently said, “Mask will never protect America,” followed by a third protester in the segment. The protester also wore a “not co-parented” T-shirt, but in a different color and style. The protester claimed that her child was “suffering” from wearing a face mask. When Klepper asked, “What problem did he have?” She replied, “He had acne on his face because his mask covered it and he wasn’t breathing his skin.” .. Egado! Acne? !! ?? How do you recover from acne when you were a kid?
Another protester in a dark blue tank top claimed that “you are inhaling the toxins your body is trying to get rid of.” When Klepper asked, “How do surgeons do that,” the protester replied, “That’s a good question.” Now that the segment has been edited, it’s not clear what the protesters said shortly thereafter. But that’s a good question. Why are so many surgeons and other doctors and medical professionals wearing face masks for years without showing any real negative effects?
This segment includes men who claim that the influence of Covid-19 is exaggerated: “I walked the hospital and recorded a video in the hospital, what do you guess? They are Covid. It’s not full of patients. “Klepper replied,” I’m worried about Covid and security measures at hospitals in North Carolina. ” After all, it can be a little confusing for patients and their families to hear a random man roaming the hospital and filming everyone.
The segment then returned to protesters in dark blue tank tops. The woman wearing the tank top said that, it’s not the dark blue tank top itself. The tank top seemed to remain quiet throughout the conversation. For example, she said wearing a face mask was a “sign of slavery.” Gee, what do those who actually had to endure slavery say about it?
She added: “My research also found that Satanists are six feet apart. They wear masks during ceremonies.” It’s not clear what she means “research.” .. Scrolling Facebook posts is not a survey. What if a lawyer or doctor says, “I investigated your case and it seems that Uncle Morty shared something on Facebook and told me what to do.”
Last month, Klepper visited an anti-Covid-19 vaccination rally in New York City (NYC) and had some interesting encounters. The segments are:
As you can see, one protester said, “Women are miscarriage. As a result of the Covid-19 vaccine, people are clearing their DNA.” Holy smoke! Has the DNA been wiped out? It constitutes a very bad day. If so, “I was supposed to meet Marcus yesterday, he was vaccinated with Covid-19 and wiped out the DNA. I asked if I wanted to change my schedule, but I didn’t get a reply. bottom.”
The ongoing theme is that none of the protesters seemed to offer a viable alternative to what they were protesting. The Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic is a real public health emergency. Since early 2020, about 1 in 500 Americans have died of Covid-19. Someone needs to do it to stop the spread of the virus, or at least reduce its potential impact. Protesting the requirements of a Covid-19 vaccine or face mask is a bit like protesting that you have to work.
