SpaceX will launch its first all-civil mission named Inspiration 4 on Wednesday.
The private mission was purchased by Jared Isaacman, the founder of Shift4Payments billionaire.
He will be joined by Haley Arseno, Cyan Proctor and Chris Sembroski.
The group spent months training travel by SpaceX employees, learning everything from orbital mechanics to micro-gravity manipulation.
When will Inspiration 4 be released?
Initially scheduled to arrive and depart on Wednesday, it has been postponed until 1am on Thursday, September 16th at the earliest.
The launch was delayed due to a combination of weather conditions and technical requirements.
SpaceX said the new date “allows additional time for final preparation, vehicle checkout, and data review.”

The rocket will take off from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

What is the purpose of the mission?
The crew spends three days in Earth’s orbit, with the team conducting research experiments before landing in the ocean.
The flight will also raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which specializes in the treatment of childhood cancer, and auction various items. Arseno himself is a survivor of childhood cancer.
Netflix is currently broadcasting a show called Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space, A documentary series that follows the crew from launch to landing.
The crew will board a Dragon spacecraft carrying a Falcon 9 rocket.
