WWE NXT 2.0 is toxic to Raquel Gonzalez vs Frankie Monet on the NXT Women’s Championship, B-Fab vs Electra Lopez on “Slowdown Without Disqualification”, Roderick Strong vs Grayson Waller on the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, and Io Shirai and Zoey Stark. NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship for charm.

WWE NXT 2.0-Major competition

WWE NXT 2.0 Results: Tuesday, September 28, 2021
Elektra Lopezdef. B-Fab
Hit Row’s promotional style is far superior to most other styles.
This was basically a fast forward Extreme Rules match.
I’m starting to think that NXT 2.0 2.0 is a homage to the length of the match (in minutes), but these women took a commercial break.
Xyon Quinndef. ONey Lorcan
Joe Gacy appeared in yet another “safe space” segment, doubling the awakened goodwill. WWE hasn’t escaped the controversy he’s agitating, and I absolutely love it.
For those who wonder, Xyon Quinn was an unnamed individual who was showing his chivalry side during a random segment last week.
NXT may have something in Xyon Quinn. He moved the crowd towards the end of the match and saw him win cleanly.
MSK confronts Dodge Challenger
NXT 2.0 feels that one star continues to have a talking segment that reflects the WWE Raw segment blocked by another.
If Carmelo Hayes uses his NXT Breakout contract in the NXT Tag Team Championship, it seems like a waste of that contract.
Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, who were crushed by IMPERIUM two weeks ago, had the courage to participate in the NXT Tag Team throne debate.
Io Shirai and Zoey Stark vs. Toxic Charm
Of all the players in the match, the crowd seemed to care most about Io Shirai.
In a true WWE way, Vic Joseph touted this week’s WWE draft by making fun of “the tag team could split.”
Gigi Drin had a nasty shock to the apron while she was out on the clothesline, but thankfully she looked fine.
Boa vs Andre Chase
Mae Ying chose to watch the match from the ringside instead of staying on the throne.
Andre Chase is wrestling with a college-style sweatshirt and collar. This gimmick is 100% comedy, but you can still get over this crowd.
There was a faint “Chase U” chant that I expected to grow as Andre Chase appeared on television.
Mayin blew steam into Andre Chase’s face, so I think he lost in technically high contact.
Roderick Strong vs. Grayson Waller – WWE NXT Championship
Grayson Waller’s theme song was struck a bit before it was suddenly cut short.
Grayson Waller, who attacks Roderick Strong from behind, was called a “smart strategy” because he was a baby face.
Lashing out with Rush Legend
WWE has more talk shows than AEW, but at least this was in place, like a real talk show, in front of the crowd.
In WWE’s response to Wendy Williams, Rush Legend (Henriel Howard) showed a lot of personality. If she’s wrestling half-hearted (hint: she’s one of WWE’s greatest athletes as a former WNBA player), WWE has a rush legend and potential superstar.
Kyle O’Reilly def.Ridge Holland
One of the themes I’m aware of at NXT is that many veterans have overcome it. This is an AEW-like approach that allows young up-and-coming people to slowly gain momentum through growing pain before they finally win a big win.
Von Wagner made a save as Kyle O’Reilly was beaten, but I still feel like NXT hasn’t fully explained who he is.
Raquel Gonzalez vs. Frankie Monet — WWE NXT Women’s Championship
Robert Stone’s wardrobe continues to be more and more eccentric and I’m here for it.
Jessie Camea has a retractable sign that says “Future Champ,” which would be very interesting if confiscated by WWE guards.
This was a good match, but Raquel Gonzalez won relatively easily.
Following this match, Toxic Attractions defeated both Stonebrand and Raquel Gonzalez. Wade Barrett compared it to the Nexus. Not perfect.
